This is a charming and tidy city within Contra Costa County, which has a recently remodeled recreation and community center, a historic movie theater, a year-round farmer’s market in its bustling plaza, and beautiful views of the Bay. The neighborhoods within it feature a variety of dwellings, from stately to more modest, with leafy streets and hillsides. El Cerrito has a great number of trails for hiking and walking, and proudly enjoys some of the most stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
