Oakland Hills

This region encompasses neighborhoods with the highest elevations within the city of Oakland, and hence some of the most expansive and striking views. The Oakland Hills area includes sections of the Lake Chabot Regional Park, as well as several other open spaces and nature preserves, including Redwood Regional Park. The Hills’ proximity to these landscapes and pristine environments is its crowning characteristic. The Oakland Hills touch the eastern border of Piedmont, in an area called Piedmont Pines, embrace a portion of the Claremont region, and move beyond on scenic Highway 13 to Hillcrest Estates. Homes here are equally famed for their beauty and distinction.
